Pilates
PRIVATE/GROUP CLASSES
Pilates is a technique invented by a German doctor in the United States in the 1920s and has become highly popular with actors, dancers and athletes. Inspired by yoga, dance and gymnastics, it is based on eight basic principles: centre of gravity, breathing, concentration, control, fluidity, precision, sequencing and isolation. Pilates is carried out at floor level, on a carpet and is applied especially to the back muscles, the abdominals, and the buttocks.
